D’un oeil différent” is an art exhibition which will be held at the Écomusée du fier monde from March, 10th to 14th, 2010, during the Quebec week of intellectual deficiency. The private view will take place Wednesday, March 10th, 2010 from 4 to 7pm. The aim of the event is to increase the awareness of a large public by presenting works of nearly 120 artists from different art workshops and, for the majority of them, living with an intellectual deficiency.
The organization of this event is provided by the Montreal Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (AMDI), the “Centres de réadaptation en déficience intellectuelle Gabrielle-Major et Lisette-Dupras”, Exeko and “La Gang à Rambrou”.
Nine of Exeko’s artists, Wayne Schoenfeld, François Gourd, Stéphan Ballard, Olivier Lefebvre, Clement Loisel, Marc-André Goulet, Johanna Autin, Cyril Assathiany and Christine Tremblay, will present their works during the exhibition.
