Exhibition "D'un oeil différent" at "l'Écomusée du fier monde"
Montreal, March 4th, 2010 – The 5th edition of the art exhibition “D’un œil différent” will take place from March 10th to March 14th at the "Écomusée du fier monde". This exhibition is part of the "Semaine québécoise de la déficience intellectuelle" (Quebec Week of Intellectual Deficiency). This event aims at raising awareness among the general public, and is organized by the Montreal Association for the Intellectually Handicapped, the Gabrielle-Major and Lisette-Dupras readaptation centers for intellectual defiency, Exeko and La Gang à Rambrou. The exhibition will showcase artworks from about 120 artists from different art workshops, and most of them live with an intellectual defiency. Nine artists form Exeko will present their artworks: Wayne Schoenfeld, François Gourd, Marc-André Goulet, Stéphan Ballard, Olivier Lefebvre, Clément Loisel, Johanna Autin, Cyril Assathiany, and Christine Tremblay. The Memory Box - DVD Launch and Official Selection at the Montreal Human Rights Film Festival
Montreal, February 25th, 2010 – The Memory Box was selected amongst 1,300 movies for the competition of the 5th Montreal Human Rights Film Festival documentary Grand Prize and Public Prize. The official DVD launch will take place during the festival on Sunday, March 21st at Cinema du Parc. More info here.
