- The Memory Box - DVD Launch and Official Selection Montreal Human Rights Film Festival
Montreal, February 25th, 2010 – Exeko is glad to present its first full-length film, The Memory Box. It was selected amongst 1,300 movies and is competing for the documentary Grand Prize along with the Public Prize, as part of the 5th Montreal Human Rights Film Festival. The official DVD launch will take place before Sunday, March 21st’s projection.
- Wayne Schoenfeld : 3 exhibitions, 3 cities of the world
Montreal, July 7th, 2009 - Exeko is proud to announce three simultaneous exhibitions of American photographer Wayne Schoenfeld. The works of "Icons/Iconoclasts" and "The Rape of the Sabine Women" collection will be or are already on exhibition in Montreal, Ottawa and Barcelona.
- Exhibition of Wayne Schoenfeld at the [SAS] Gallery
Montreal, May 19th, 2009 - Galerie [sas] is proud to present the American photographic artist Wayne Schoenfeld and his series on the Depression-era North American circus, “Icons/Iconoclasts.” This exhibition—to be held from May 21 to August 22—will bring together about fifteen pieces that were the main attraction this past February during the Art Souterrain portion of the Montreal All Nighter.
- Palais Circassien
Montreal, February 10th, 2009 – Exeko presents « Palais Circassien » as part of the Montreal All Nighter and the 25th anniversary of the Palais des Congrès and the SITQ. This event floats around Wayne Schoenfeld’s masterpiece; the photographic exhibition entitled Icons / Iconoclasts. Wayne Schoenfeld is a Californian artist and photographer known in the international scene. After several exhibitions in the United States and a private exhibition at the Cirque du Soleil, the 38 major photographic works are revealed publicly for the first time in Canada.
- Trauma Relief Tour 2009
Montreal, December 12th, 2008 - “Trauma Relief Tour” project is a two-month exchange with exceptional performer/ teachers NGO’s, orphanages, festivals and hospitals working with orphans or children in need in Asia. This tour will focus their energies in Thailand, Cambodia and China. The objective of the tour is to improve the psychological conditions of children who have lived in crisis situations.
- The Memory Box - USA Premiere Screening
Los Angeles, September 20th, 2008 – Produced by the Exeko Project, The Memory Box, a documentary film on humanitarian efforts in Ethiopia, had its US premiere today at a “full house” invitation only screening in Beverly Hills. The film, distributed by Locomotion of Montreal is a first time collaboration between film maker Stephen Auerbach and photographer Wayne Schoenfeld.
- Through This World But Once - Wayne Schoenfeld
Montreal, April 1st 2008 – American photographer Wayne Schoenfeld and EXEKO are presenting, as part of the Vues d’Afrique festival, Through This World But Once, the exhibition and the documentary film.
The exhibition displays, from April 1st to 20th, 15 photographs from two humanitarian missions to Ethiopia, in November 2006 and February 2007 - all at the CinéRobothèque located at the National Film Board of Canada. - Wayne Schoenfeld - Icons/Iconoclasts at the Cirque du Soleil
Montreal, October 22nd, 2007 — From October 17 to November 23, as part of Cirque du Soleil’s cultural action programs, Californian artist and photographer, Wayne Schoenfeld, is presenting his private exhibition entitled Icons/Iconoclasts, North American Circus in the 1930s. On display will be 39 major photographic works, nine of which are from his The Circus of Life/Le cirque de la vie series (2006), with another 30 to be unveiled as world premieres – all at the Agora located in the Cirque du Soleil’s International Headquarters.
